Almost any metal can be powder coated— steel, aluminum, and iron. While most metals can be powder coated, there are a few exceptions:

Non-Conductive Metals: Metals that don’t conduct electricity well, such as certain stainless steel grades with high chromium or nickel content, can be more challenging to powder coat. The electrostatic charge won’t adhere as effectively.

Metal Alloys with Low Heat Tolerance: Alloys that can’t withstand the high temperatures of the curing oven (usually around 300-400°F) may warp or degrade, making them unsuitable for powder coating.

First, an electrostatic charge is applied to the powder, causing it to cling evenly to the metal surface. Then, it’s baked in a high-temperature oven, where the powder melts and cures into a smooth, durable finish. This high-tech process not only ensures a flawless, long-lasting coat but also minimizes waste, making it both efficient and environmentally friendly.

Large scale projects are given priority and typically take 3-5 business days. Smaller, specialized projects take 5-10 business days.
